Emmy Awards 2016: nomination e vincitori

E ci siamo: finalmente anche quest'anno l'annuncio delle nomination agli Emmy Awards sono arrivate!
La cerimonia, presentata da Jimmy Kimmel, si terrà domenica 18 settembre presso il Microsoft Theater di Los Angeles preceduta domenica 11 settembre dalla premiazione di quella parte di categorie prettamente tecniche che ricade sotto la dicitura di Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Durante quest'ultima vengono annunciati, tra gli altri, i vincitori nelle categorie guest delle cinquine attoriali che, quindi, vengono svelati con una settimana di anticipo rispetto alle altre.
Piccola nota a posteriori: dopo l'annuncio delle nomination, quella di Peter MacNicol nella categoria Guest actor in a comedy series è stata ritirata in quanto la partecipazione dell'attore alla serie tv "Veep" è stata superiore al 50% del totale degli episodi prodotti per l'ultima stagione. Il che lo ha reso ineleggibile nella categoria dedicata, appunto, alle presenze fugaci di attori che partecipano in modalità straordinaria a un telefilm. Ha preso il suo posto l'attore Peter Scolari che, curiosamente, ha anche vinto.
