Oscar 2010: i Vincitori (e i molti vinti)

Ebbene anche questa 82esima edizione dei premi Oscar è andata. Una notte (lunghissima) in cui celebrities con la "C" bella maiuscola si sono alternate alla presentazione dei premi cinematografici più ambiti del pianeta.
Per quanto riguarda le vittorie, si può dire subito che nelle categorie attoriali non c'è stata alcuna novità mentre in quelle tecniche c'è stato meno "Avatar" del previsto. Nessuno si aspettava un James Camero-bis per la regia dopo il "Titanic" di tanti anni fa, ma forse lui non immaginava che sarebbe stata proprio l'ex moglie (unica e quindi prima donna in 82 edizioni a vincere per la regia. Prima di lei nominate solo Lina Wertmüller, Jane Campion e Sofia Coppola), la bellissima Kathryn Bigelow a rubargli la statuetta.
Grande sorpresa, nonostante tutto, per la scelta di premiare una Sandra Bullock, il giorno prima premiata ai Razzie Award quale peggiore attrice dell'anno. Cerchiamo di vederla così: ha vinto la peggiore delle migliori (perchè se fosse la migliore delle peggiori sarebbe davvero un disastro...). Le sue concorrenti - tra cui Meryl Streep e Helen Mirren - avrebbero meritato molto più di lei di ricevere il premio, ma si sa che ogni attore ha il suo anno e questo era quello di Sandra (e Jeff Bridges. E Mo'Nique. E Christoph Waltz...).
Ancora più sconvolgente la scelta di premiare "Star Trek" per la categoria miglior trucco, quando evidentemente lo sforzo di ricreare un Andreotti credibile nel film "Il Divo" avrebbe sicuramente reso giustizia ad un'Italia finalmente di qualità, ancora una volta quasi totalmente ignorata. Dico quasi perchè grazie ad "Avatar" un premio a 'casa' ce lo siamo portati: la fotografia di Mauro Fiore ha convinto i giurati dell'Academy. Solamente altri due premi per il kolossal degli omoni blu: effetti speciali (ovvio) e scenografie.
Due statuette per "Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire" (attrice non protagonista e sceneggiatura non originale) e altrettante per "Up" (colonna sonora e film d'animazione) e "Crazy Heart" (attore protagonista e canzone originale). 1 solo Oscar ai costumi del film "The Young Victoria".
Sono rimasti senza premi, invece, "Tra le nuvole", che conserva così le sue 6 nomination, "An education" e "La principessa e il ranocchio", 3 nomination, "District 9" e "Nine", 4 nomination, "Invictus", The Messenger", "A Serious Man", "Il nastro bianco", e "The Last Station", 2 nomination.
In totale 6 premi per "The Hurt Locker" che si è dimostrato, quindi, unico vero protagonista della serata.
