Film 1170 - 10 Cloverfield Lane

Perso al cinema, ma recuperato a casa ero davvero curioso di scoprire questo film!

Pensieri: Sequel "spirituale" del precedente e altrettanto di successo "Cloverfield" (che personalmente non mi era piaciuto), questo film gioca tutto sulla tensione e la claustrofobia, oltre che l'ansia da attacco nemico non identificato.
In un mondo in cui un misterioso avvenimento catastrofico costringe i sopravvissuti a rifugiarsi sottoterra, la nostra protagonista - in fuga da una relazione amorosa che ha la voce di Bradley Cooper - si ritrova imprigionata nel bunker di uno stranissimo uomo che giura di averla salvata da morte certa. L'aria all'esterno, infatti, sarebbe ora irrespirabile ed uscire comporterebbe morire. C'è da credergli? Diciamo che diventa difficile nel momento in cui la ragazza capisce di essere, di fatto, in trappolata.
Assolutamente impossibilitata a muoversi liberamente, inizialmente Michelle (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) pensa a un rapimento e cerca di scappare, ma l'aspetta l'evidenza di un contagio esterno che l'indurrà a rimanere. Assieme a lei e all'inquietante Howard (John Goodman), il giovane Emmett (John Gallagher Jr.) con cui la ragazza finirà per legare e ancor di più confabulare contro il più anziano del gruppo. Da qui alla degenerazione totale delle cose ovviamente non passa molto.
Nonostante i pochi elementi presenti (3 personaggi, un unico luogo ed evidentemente non un'infinità di scenari possibili) "10 Cloverfield Lane" è un thriller psicologico ben calibrato che riesce, di conseguenza, a condizionare non poco lo spettatore. La suspense, la tensione e l'ansia per tutte le situazioni che la trama porterà alla luce sono in grado di condizionare non poco chi guarda, rendendo l'esperienza certamente emozionante. Ovviamente si tratta di un prodotto che vive dei suoi elementi spettacolari e dunque ricade nel puro intrattenimento, in ogni caso si tratta di un film in grado di rispettare egregiamente le aspettative che genera oltre che rappresentare un evidente miglioramento rispetto alla pellicola che lo ha preceduto.

Consigli: Avendo perso il passaggio al cinema, ho recuperato la versione in lingua originale, che mi ha molto soddisfatto. Il cast è ottimo e Goodman è un protagonista magnificamente inquietante, sempre all'altezza delle aspettative. Consiglio la visione di "10 Cloverfield Lane", un titolo perfetto per l'estate che finalmente ci ha raggiunto. Carico di suspense e sufficientemente soffocante per rendere la visione degna di essere affrontata.
