Film 2098 - The Batman

In sintesi: era da un po' che non mi capitava di vivere un'esperienza cinematografica collettiva e devo dire che la cosa è stata un'aggiunta positiva alla visione di questo nuovo Batman. Che, diciamocelo pure, è stato una grande sorpresa.
Nonostante non mi sia perso nessuna delle ultime uscite cinematografiche del giustiziere di Gotham, non posso certo dire di essere uno dei suoi fan più accaniti, per cui il fatto che mi sia sentito tanto rapito e coinvolto da questa pellicola mi ha davvero colto di sorpresa.
Innanzitutto ho davvero apprezzato l'interpretazione di Zoë Kravitz che ho trovato servire perfettamente il tono e il mood della storia: ottima scelta di cast e finalmente per lei il ruolo da protagonista che si merita. Robert Pattinson è sorprendentemente in parte e funziona bene, nonostante una sorta di ritorno al pallore di "Twilight" e quell'allure costante da cane bastonato. Devo dire che, comunque, considerata quale atmosfera si è voluta dare al film, il suo Bruce Wayne è ben costruito e credibile.
Per il resto è la storia a farla davvero da padrone, o almeno così è stato per me. L'anima thriller di questa nuova avventura di Batman è ben mescolata ad atmosfere horror che confezionano un film cupo e tesissimo che ricorda molto (quel capolavoro di David Fincher) "Seven" e il violento sadismo di "Saw", il tutto per un risultato finale che mi ha coinvolto dall'inizio alla fine. Anzi, devo ammetterlo, che mi ha tenuto incollato alla sedia dall'inizio alla fine. E non è cosa da poco per un film di 3 ore.
Ecco, se poi devo trovare un difetto a "The Batman" posso dire che la durata è un fattore da non sottovalutare, anche se onestamente non ho sofferto troppo la tempistica sopra la media (ho sofferto più il fatto di essere seduto di fianco a qualcuno che non vedeva una doccia da tempi immemori).
Detto ciò, per me "The Batman" è stato la sorpresa che non mi aspettavo e il buon film di supereroi di cui avevo bisogno, specialmente per credere ancora nell'universo DC.

Vale o non vale: Decisamente da vedere, specialmente se sia amano i film intensi e densi di storia, magari a tinte thriller/horror. Mettiamoci, poi, che si tratti di un film sui supereroi e, boom!, abbiamo fatto l'en plein. Per me un grande film su Batman, un ottimo cast, una storia avvincente e raccontata col giusto tono.
